Medicaid
As a state agency that receives both state and federal funding, the Department of Children & Families provides cost-saving health care programs and services to eligible individuals of all ages. Many of these programs are specific to Medicare beneficiaries and available to those who meet the income and asset standards. If you need assistance understanding how the programs work or where to apply, please contact the SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) program through the Elder Helpline at 1-800-96-ELDER (1-800-963-5337).
